New build

After posting in the new members section I was asked to keep you updated on my Compact build

Todays major update is that I am now the proud owner of a bog standard BMW Compact, it's an X reg 2000, one of the last E36 shape I believe, very tidy with no sunroof

Now the fun begins, first job is to strip it and dip it, going to send the bare shell and doors here

Fantastic. What are your plans for the car?? Rally / Tarmac

Hi Scott

The car will mainly be used on single venue tarmac events but in saying that most of the venues today have some sort of mixed surface

I used to know a lot of the venues extremely well but it's getting on for eight years now since I last competed so it's probably going to be a bit of a learning curve again but no doubt I'll soon get the hang of it

Excellent, it's been a while since I done any kind of motorsport 25 yrs, now the kids are older my thirst has begun again.
Where about do you live is it within the midlands.
