I still use standard rear discs, no issues at all so long as you use competition pads. I use 17 and 18 inch wheels, there are more second hand 18 inch tyres available but fewer buyers of 17s so either way there is quite a bit of choice. I found 18s were too tight a fit without modding the arches. Spaceman on here has fabricated a wide arch kit which is fitted to our car - not sure I have up to date photos on here but you can see it on www.team-notax.co.uk.

Nice website Notax, all looks very professional. My first event looks like being at Manby, Lincs in July!!! as I am running out of time (money) for the Feburary event.

I will bend the tin one first then im sure the next route will be to lighten the car as its currently 1250kg. Maybe fibreglass wings bumpers etc. Harry Hockleys stuff looks good but at a cost.

I thought my bike racing was expensive but this car bug is adding up!! Need a van and trailer next or a Co driver to push it to events.

Spaceman's kit is much less expensive - esp as you can use standard front and rear bumpers if preferred. As some on here will tell you it is good to shed a bit of weight if you've got an M3 lump upfront...

Quick update.

Past my BARS test on tuesday so hopefully get my licence back soon. Just sorting co-driver out so should be ready for Richard Burns rally

New revolution wheels arrived 8x18.

Cars in bits at the minute as my ARP conrod bolts have arrived. So any help / advice on install would be good as I will be using the torque method (not stretch gauge method).

Been on ARP website and looks easy enough

Fantastic news about Richard Burns Rally - look forward to seeing you there Suggest you get your entry in fast. I was hoping that would be the first event for our new car but now likley to stick with what we know... Will sort accomodation soon - probably a self catered barn or similar, let me know if you'd be interested sharing accomodation...

Update time.

Roof vent from Spaceman. Top quality and looks the part. I understand he can supply in any colour within the gel coat. This will be painted black prior to fitting.

£75 All day, due to the wet weather I was instructed to only use the tarmac section which had many chicanes set up and a short off road section. But thats all I needed

Yeh that would be good, I have already ask to be next to my mate Dave Patrick (manta 4000cc ) and they confirm this was ok, your more than welcome to service together as this is my first event. All advice greatly received.
