Its a getrag race ratio as fitted to old touring cars, 2.3 first and direct top. My bro' has cwp slightly out, its a motorsport 5.125 diff (slightly too low). Our Engine is good for 8200.

Quick update....Engine now in & started for 1st time Thursday...Got car out for a swift 'spin' round the field....Now for the tedious spanner checking & all small awkward jobs etc....

Oh yes its a looker! i've just voted it forum beauty.

Did you see the 6speed prodrive box on ebay for almost drenth money! looked to be based on a lengthened m3, similar to a sadev.

Rolling road is booked late June....few bits to sort out before she is pushed in anger

Not sure on 1st event..probably @ sept..quite fancy either the 'promenade stages' or the Richard Burns memorial rally....

Fully understand about looking and seeing some service documentation for mechanical items costing that much.
We took a flyer on our gearbox from holland and re-built it before use, luckily it turned out ok for us.

Finally got round to doing some more work on the car over last couple of weeks...(due to serious overworked in day job dept).
Car has now got its CCLB......Ye ha..

Next step...rolling road, then test day.
Might be looking for co-driver for tarmac event during October...early days yet.
