Oh, meant to mention.........

Looks like some effing clown, at some point in the cars life, has run up the bonnet and onto the roof, denting it beyond repair, maybe a case for a carbon roof then...............

They aren't crap (mine served it's purpose superbly ), but they aren't up to Sunbmw/Mr carbon Fibre fetish's, standard.

I knew a serious darts player once.

He started off with carbon shafts and very soon it became titanium flights, he drives down the motorway opening & slamming his car door repeatedly nowadays, in case it isn't closed properly.

Who knows what this CF thing could lead to.

Excellent news! So my cage may as well be Plasticine It certainly looks a lot less substantial than the other works of art I've seen posted on here. At least as I'm hurtling towards a tree at 90mph upside down I can remind myself I've saved a few kilos - says the man with his arm and wrist currently broken by a tree

Proper strong imo Notax (50mm hoop etc), but they don't fit as well as they could if you're tall.

Mine pushed the seat toward the centre of the car due to my long legs, which exaggerated the offset pedals issue.

I've had worse/more exciting crashes, but I don't recall one that asked as many questions of the roll cage/door bars than the compact crash. We both walked away and drove home.

Thanks for the peace of mind M3C. Although I'm only 5'9 I also have big problems with the cage intruding too far. Only notices when I'm wearing a helmet - have to drive with my head cocked over Hope that fitting the new seats as low as possible will help the problem...
