its scrubbed up well, question is............. does it still look like that after looking at the cambrian results?

Yeah not a mark on it !!!!!! It was SS2 Penmachno North just after the Quarry section where all the spectators head for there was a L1Lg ( Left one Long) tightens to L9 (Square 90 Left) Off Camber, and unfortunatly i calle dit as a L1Lg into L9 and not as it should have been called L1Lg Tightening to L9, we slid slightly wide and put both O/S wheels over the edge of ridge !!!!!!

There was No speccies about and i could'nt push it out on my own so that was the end of that un-fortuntly !!!!!!

Cliff has done forest events for years and he said he has never ever seen a 1st stage as rough and cut up as that bud, from my point of view it was fuckin horrendous and if forest rallies are like that theree is no way im taking a car in there !!!!!

After talking a few local guys who made it to the end the all reckon there cars need new floor pans !!!!! The Help For Heros or ex squaddies from Iraq were out in there Land Rover Free Lander and they managed to rip there exhaust off !!!!!! So what chance have normal rally cars got ?????

glad to hear it !! sounds crap, cars just take too much effort to look good, just to wreck it in a forest, i prefer to keep it clean!!!

If there had been 3 or 4 speccies there we would have been out and away as when the closing car come through they took our time cards EVEN though we weren't over the Target time and OTL time etc and then 2 mins after the rescue guys arrived and gave us a quick snatch of approx 1 or 2 feet and we were out and away but with no time cards so off home we went !!!!!

bad luck on the dnf.
i went to alwen then the orme today and i have to say the condition of the few miles of the alwen stage that i walked seem very smooth with little or no ruts/potholes; maybe it was just penmachno?

Well this one is now sold and its my belief that it is going to be converted with a BMW V8 engine in readiness for the Barbados Rally by a John Hardman for one of his customers !!!
