Just a quick spec and few pics of my car!

E30 318is shell...
S50 3.0 M3 motor and M3 'box
Gaz coilovers front and dampers on rear
5-stud conversion - E36 M3 front hubs/brakes and E36 318ti rear trailing arms
3.9 LSD
Bias Pedal Box
Z3 steering Rack


Running in the Anemmc Championship and having fun with the car, ironing out little problems but when on song shes brilliant!

Thankyou for the comments! Will have a look if i have an upto date pic. The engine is nice and snug with plenty of room as i have removed the battery tray and fitted a pedal box so i can now pull the manifolds of in-situ!

Just reolised the s50 is the m3 motor, the bruvs are building a compact with the 3000cc z3 motor.


You should check out NOTAX's build, and SUNBMW's...

welcome to the forum, out of interest how did you get round the manifold/steering column issue?

I chopped the 6th port (Closest the bulkhead) where it fouls and turned it 180 degrees and welded it back up...Looks hard but very simple.

Seems similar to the way I did it. Thought the 1300 quid for the BTB modification was a bit too steep

Hello, I'm new to BMW's. Does the E36 M3 hub, disc and caliper bolt directly to an E30 318 IS stut? Also, the same on the rear. Does the E36 318 Ti trailing arm fit onto the E30 318 IS without modifying? Thanks
