Tarmac e30 getting xe power!!

As far as i can see you can only get remote servos for single line systems so i would have to buy 2 remote servos which will be expensive!

Anyone know of a twin line remote servo?

Not sure that it's possible?

I tried using a Manta with a pedal box with two separate remote servos - it was awful, waaaaay 'over servoed' and no feel to the brakes.

Ian332iSport may have some info about BMW servo sizes & E30 suitability, it's worth trying a PM - he's a very knowledgeable & helpful chap.

Thanks m3 compact, i thought 2 remote servos would be overkill!!

alan/m3compact The e30 and e39 servo's are exactly the same size and both touch my exhaust manifold so better m/c's for the e30 is unfortunately not going to help.....

I am pretty sure my only option is to press my manifold slightly to create a gap between the two, then i can fit the heat shield to the servo and probably wrap some exhaust wrapping around the small area where it gets too close so hopefully the combination of the two will shield it all from the heat enough.....

Perhaps raise (or move over) the servo a tad, could be possible by changing the height of the clevis on the left lever where the rods turn thro' 90 degrees.

This is a video of the hill climb i did the other week, its a bit slow and 2nd is stupidly looooooong but it worked and it didn't break!!



It seems the engine is down on compression which explains alot!

i've speccy'd a few there, is that one bouley bay? its at least 13-14 years since i was there
