safety pull and fire eater

hi everyone ...im about to fit my fire eater system and cut off switch ....im looking for advise on where to drill and fit my two "pull" handles ...any pics would be great ..... bmw dont really have a "scuttle" panel below the front screen like a mk2 escort im used to!!!!!! thanks everyone 8)

my mate has a cut out in the wing on the nearside, created a pocket that both pull cables sit in. Will try to get a photo, looks mint to be fair to him.

not a big fan of wing cut outs, if its on its side your screwed!! e30 pulls fit well in wiper grill with some dodging and fairly accessible even if car is upside down. e36 pulls seem happier lying on the scuttle via a small plate , so that they can be pulled up towards the screen, if that makes any sense?!! :lol:

I'm wary of wing mounted pulls in case they get snagged accidentally. Mine are on a bracket from the inner wing to the bulkhead, accessed via a bonnet cut out.

his are completely in the wing so unlikely to get snagged, similar to yours, must get a photo.
